Short-Term Running Goals:

With the birth of my twins, I kind of fell off the running wagon.  I have slowly been trying to get back into shape and get marathon ready.  My short term goals include increasing speed, endurance and to get into better overall shape.

I would love to qualify for Boston!

Way too hot for a run today as is evidenced by the temps listed below.  Used the Garmin Tempe with my Fenix 3 for the stats.  It is amazing how the sun light reflected off of the office buildings windows downtown heats things up.  The hottest parts of my run were the beginning and end when I was surround by the tall buildings.  You can feel a 10 degree difference with the sun blazing off the windows.  I did a lunch run at work up to South Temple and then back.  I was dead; the heat zapped all of my energy.  I might have to start running early or late until this heat wave is over.  Crazy her in SLC.  Six of the last eight days have been 100+ with Tuesday reaching a high of 104.  Three more days of tripple digits until we cool ever so slightly down to the mid to high 90's.  Can summer be over yet?!
