Short-Term Running Goals: With the birth of my twins, I kind of fell off the running wagon. I have slowly been trying to get back into shape and get marathon ready. My short term goals include increasing speed, endurance and to get into better overall shape. Long-Term Running Goals: I would love to qualify for Boston! | | It was too nice of a spring day to not get outside and go for a run. Despite being fatigued from the last run, I went anyway. Good old Holladay loop; over to Wren Drive and back along the diagonal to my house.

The Salt Lake Marathon was today and I hooked up with the runners on the route at 3900 South. I ran with them to the turnaround at great harvest and then back along the diagonal until 4500 South. It was fun to run with them and got me motivated to do a marathon here soon. I forgot how fun race day is! Very motivational!

| | Ran a wonky loop today. From my house through the neighborhoods to avoid all of the construction on 2300 East. Ran over to Lambourne and back. Zig-zagged around 3300 south and made my way back home. Went very slow today. My right shin has been bugging me so I thought I would take it slow. I actually enjoyed the slower pace. Felt like I could go forever and had a small amount of pain in the shin. All in all a success!

| | Switched things up today. Did a .44 mile loop around the block with the boys which was awesome! Then I dropped them back off at home and went for a more hilly course by going over to Evergreen, up to 2700 East, over to 3900 South and then back home. Again super slow pace due to my shin hurting.

Still a bit of pain but not as bad as it has been the last week. I think switching back to the Hokas for a little extra cushion has helped!
